Since the conference first expanded back in 1992, no team in the SEC can claim a more miserable run than the 1998-1999 South Carolina Gamecocks football team. They won their first game of the 1998 season, before losing 21 straight. The '99 version of the Gamecocks can make an argument as the worst team in SEC football history.
They averaged 7.9 points per game.....ON OFFENSE.

USC is a scrappy team. We were fortunate to come away with the win. But to compare USC's athletic program to LSU's, in any sport is just stupid.
