Someone would have to really, really, really hate Democrats to say Carville is a bigger embarrassment.
I vote GOP 95% of the time and I would hang out with Carville and Clinton every day of the week and twice on Sundays over Duke any day ever.
Carville has actually done an excellent job representing LSU and Louisiana in his personal life over the years. And he married a Republican.

I've never voted democrat, along with the majority of tiger fans. That being said almost all LSU fans would put James Carville in their top 10 in most beloved fans in terms of non athlete famous people.
