A&M is a good team.

Tournament quality, IMO.

SEC has 5 teams right now.

Was thinking the same thing. Before the season, I heard nothing but that aTm was going to be absolutely horrible.

Uh, they don't look absolutely horrible to me.

We were supposed to be horrible. Kennedy has had nothing but horrible teams at A&M up until a few weeks ago.

I, as an Aggie, am personally still trying to figure why we aren't horrible. And hoping against hope that we don't go back to being horrible on any given gameday.

A part of me wants to believe the Gillespie days are back for Aggie basketball. But a much bigger part of me is laughing at that part and telling it to STFU and GTFO with that nonsense....

Need another Acie Law type of player and then they'll really be in business. Damn he was good and that guy hit every big shot he ever took.

No he isn't. House is good. But Acie was clutch incarnate.

1st team All-American, Conference MVP, Bob Cousy Award winner, drafted 11th overall, and more last second three point shots drained without hesitation than I can even recall.

House has a hell of lot of work to do to even be considered to be close to Acie.

tap the breaks man.House looks legit but Acie was the best player to ever put on an A&M jersey.

Billy Kennedy was a great coach at Murray state. They won 30 games the year before he left and the year after he left. They lost like 6/7 top scorers his last year and still were decent.

Turg won games, but wasn't a great recruiter, especially his last couple classes. Couple that with Billy Kennedy having the rug pulled out from under him by Parkinson's before he even got started? That's a tough break. Alex Robinson said a lot of coaches negative recruited about his condition. He's built the roster from scratch and he's not done.

Meh, he's getting there. Acie is still definitely acie, but he can be fricking good next year

If how good players could be next year mattered at all, A&M football would be on an active 20 streak of national championships.

That's must be why they put him in the center of the celebration after big wins, they want him to go frick himself.

Weird deal. A whole bunch of Aggie fans have built up so much distaste for Kennedy that they seem to be hoping for A&M losses to confirm their opinions. I don't get it.

A 5-0 conference streak is a 5-0 conference streak. Naysayers should (but won't) give the man some credit.

I have roundly lambasted BK up to this point for a variety of things, but if he and his staff continue to win and compete like this, I'll gladly eat crow.

I just want to see winning Aggie basketball, by hook or by crook.

Well I think we all expect myles garrett, speedy noil, and kyle allen to be pretty fricking salty next year do we not? There's a reason, I feel comfortable in thinking we can have an acie law type player in danuel house by the time he leaves a&m. He could end up not even getting close, or maybe he does

We do. But until they actually do it, I'm not going to put them on the same level as Von Miller, Mike Evans, and Johnny Manziel.

Meh.

I genuinely thought they had enough talent last year to be a tournament team. I definitely feel that way this year. I still haven't bought into kennedy as a coach, but this is a fun team to root for. They all genuinely seem to enjoy one another, and it's hard not to pull for that. From a schematic standpoint kennedy still drives me nuts, but if he keeps winning and they make the tournament and show well I'd be willing to reevaluate and eat a little crow.
