Yes but why did he average 3.3 yards per carry this year while the other backs averaged 4.5? I can't make excuses for the guy anymore. He simply hasn't cut it in the pros.

They love to talk shite about Bama played on the rant, but this is the only guy I can say is a Bama bust. And it is surprising as hell. He even had a solid rookie season.

I read on a Colts sight that he was over weight. They had a pic of him cut up like the hulk in the same article.
IMHO
Cochran kept him 'reeled in' in the weight room. When he left Bama he went crazy with that shite, possibly injured his self. Bulked up way to much and killed any agility he had. On top of that coaching has tried to force a square peg in a round hole.
They use him strictly on first and maybe second downs. Almost completely giving away the play call every time he is in. This is why the other backs are so much more successful then he is.
Let him backup Lynch in Seattle and he would be in a much better position to break away from the bust label.

Problem with this theory is the Colts ranked 6th in the NFL for most 1st down pass attempts. They couldn't focus on shutting down the running game on first down.
