And it would be 2 games in a row. So I don't think that happens.
We had a player make a own goal buzzer beating basket for FSU this year

We lost by a buzzer beater 3 to Miami

Georgetown made a basket with 5s left to beat us in OT

Fricked up last possession against Ole Miss after holding a lead late

Blew a 20+pt game against Kansas

So in all likelihood if it's a close game, you will win

We have talked about this before, but do you think Grant must win against Fl to keep the job?

Have you watched us the last 5 years? We are the SEC version of Virginia Tech under Seth Greenberg. Always enough to be on the bubble, never enough to get off it.

We live in basketball purgatory.

Because the ncaa chances are 10% or so without a win tonight, yes he must win to keep his job.

I think Bama pulls it out. Should be a slow paced, low scoring affair...

Ugly doesn't begin to describe the possible outcome for this game.

You guys have been pretty good this year. The UK game was gnarly but you're better than that showing.

You're a KenPom guy right? For kicks, check out where Vandy and Florida fall under ratings for luck (scroll alllll the way down). I don't really agree with their definition of luck though. KenPom assumes a 50-50 chance of winning a close game.

Who knows. This team has talent, and there is always the possibility they put it together and play like it. I'm not counting on it.

It would be the first time since 1998 that UF lost 4 regular season games in a row.

Yea, big KenPom guy. I agree with using the Luck metric to some degree, but I also think that at some point losing almost all close games and the other inputs in the luck metric are actually controlled by players and coaches and not totally random chance.

Pretty crazy that 3 SEC teams are in the bottom 8 of his luck calculations, though.

This is probably one of Grant's best teams since arriving at Bama, but there are still problems that have persisted since his first season. Late-game metldowns, long scoring droughts, poor rebounding, sloppy offense, etc.

We were given no favors from the SEC with an absolutely brutal opening 10 games, and I think the South Carolina and Kentucky losses deflated a lot of fans. I know the South Carolina loss did for me. No way we should have lost that game.

We'll see how tonight goes, but Donovan has absolutely owned us. This is his worst team at UF, so there's a sliver of hope, but past results and recent performances from the Bama team don't give many much hope.

I think it'll be our typical close game where we find a way to lose it at the end.

Outside of StepL and OffShoreWahoo Bama basketball fans on this board are pretty pessimistic.

It is weird. I mean, they're not great, but most Bama fans act like they're the devil's curse to basketball when they're pretty decent.

We've been "pretty decent" for years though. It's just getting pretty old.

grant's never beaten a team ranked in the top 25 ...

ever ... not likely to change this year ... not likely to make the tourney ... not likely to look as tho we have a clue on offense ...
