Whoever said he's Da'Rick Rogers 2.0 was spot on. He's got too much talent to pass up but Butch has got to get him under control or they're gonna have a major head ache on their hands. And this is not from just this incident.

I don't really know what everyone is so upset about. This is a risk you take when you bring a guy in to visit that's been committed to another school for a year and a half.

Drew Richmond got caught trying to recruit Ryan Newsome to Ole Miss back in October when they were on a Tennessee visit together. Obviously, UT fans weren't happy but that's a part of recruiting. Contact between UT and Richmond seemed to stop completely until a couple of weeks ago when Richmond reached out to Butch.

If Richmond shows up in Knoxville decked out in Ole Miss stuff and trying to recruit for them this weekend, I would imagine he would be asked to leave and that's that. OM fans would be pumped (rightfully so) and Tennessee fans would be like GTFO. I wouldn't think he's a TPOS for that.

That's not why he was asked to leave... Trent Thompson wore UGA stuff to an auburn game this year and no one made him leave.

Dude was asked to leave bc he was smoking weed in the hotel...

Unless you got some proof, You just mad. Forgive me if I don't take an Auburn recruiting site mod's word as gospel.

He's not going to Auburn, he was never going to Auburn, you're embarrassed that you got your hopes up and had ZERO CHANCE of flipping him.

Auburn fans are just saying he smoked pot because they're pissed they missed out in him...

UT can afford to take a risk on a WR. Best case, he does his job and is an All-SEC WR. Worst case, he gets kicked out for weed.

Dooley isn't running the show anymore. Coach Jones would kick a player off in a heartbeat if he fricks up.

5* Tenn commit WR Preston Williams asked to leave #AU OV by AU staff bc he was wearing only Tennessee apparel & was recruiting others to #UT

Again, conflicting reports. Where is the proof of this?

As much of a troublemaker as David Ricky was, I can't help but think things might've been different with a different head coach.

In Da'Rick's freshman year, he swolled up on WR coach Charlie Baggett (a guy with 15 years experience coaching NFL WR) and Dooley just let it slide. He more or less took Da'Rick's side and that's why Baggett abruptly quit after one season.

Dooley let the inmates run the asylum and was Da'Rick's biggest enabler. I could be wrong but I don't see Butch being that kind of guy.

Only Urbs can get away with that "inner circle" crap.

Don't think anyone on our side thought he would flip without some significant help (his recruiters at UT leaving for other jobs).

Williams being asked to leave is what it is. Both sides can believe the story they want to...it doesn't really matter. Can we just let this shite die now?

More than Auburn can?

I don't think one single Auburn fan thought he was flipping.

Nice straw man tho.

Every single other fanbase in this thread has said it was disrespectful......it was. End of discussion. The fact that you and your ilk are arguing that it isn't speaks more about you.

He showed Auburn exactly the amount of respect they deserve.

A "risk"? Are you serious?

The whole point of an official visit that a school pays for to come and visit is for them to get their chance to recruit you while footing the entire bill. Showing up and paying no attention to that only to recruit guys who are there to listen to what they have to say being respectful is 100% being an asshat.

It's nothing more than being that guy in the movie theather who's phone not only rings but then answers it to blab on the phone for minutes. Let's see what you think about Auburn sending a few commits on OV's to Tennessee only turn up decked out in Auburn gear and is distracting every recruit there to visit and hear Tennessee coaches.

Sure it was disrespectful, no need to make up stories about blazing in the hotel though, it makes you sound petty

He definitely was pro Tenn on his OV. He definitely chose Tenn every game of NCAA they played and was talking up Tenn. You don't get sent home for that though. Ask "Georgia Boy" Trent Thompson

Believe it or not, he did light something up and it wasn't stuff you can buy at a gas station. It isn't something AU needs to worry about anymore

He was never going to flip to AU and is solid to Tenn. Hope he works at for ya'll and isn't a Da'Rick Rogers for ya'll. His talent is crazy and it would be a shame if he doesn't put it to good use
