It wasn't the fans. It was the guys that get paid to follow Auburn that insinuated that. This is the first I have seen that he was negative recruiting while on our dime. I would think that the paid guys would have said that was the reason he was asked to leave. Why make up something about pot if it was just negative recruiting? In all honesty, that is worse in my book than smoking a little weed.

I find it hilarious that folks are actually in a tizzy over this. Reminds me of the tizzy some on VN are still in over another recruit (not committed to us but to another SEC school) who showed up on a visit to us and tried to 'recruit' others to that school. Good thing our coaches have thicker skin because it appears he may be this year's Sawyers (Sawyers said awful things about us on twitter only to flip later).

Who would you tend to believe would know the real story behind a recruit being sent home from an official visit to AUBURN in AUBURN...AUBURN insiders, or Tennessee insiders?
Your "insiders" are likely getting the story from Preston Williams himself; and its not as if the kid is going to tell anyone he got sent home for weed.
Trent Thompson was more or less recruiting for Georgia the week before and he was never "sent home" by the staff. Explain that one. They more or less just outcasted him from the group and let the kid leave on his own.

That's not why he was asked to leave... Trent Thompson wore UGA stuff to an auburn game this year and no one made him leave.
