I saw someone else wearing Gerogia stuff in an airport. It was so refreshing. 95% of the time, it's either florida fans or Big 10 fans. I typically wear a lot of Georgia stuff when I'm outside of the south (hats, fleeces) but this is the first weekend ever where it got any attention. I was in Illinois and I had about 6-7 people throughout the day "Go Dawgs" me on the side of the street. and a really nice Alabama fan roll tided me but than gave me free food. I travel around a fair bit and that has never happened. Like it took me awhile to realize what they said.

Written from my phone.

I travel a lot and I always rep the power G on a tee shirt or hoodie myself and half the time I get a reaction. When I worked at Yellowstone last year, I saw more UGA gear than most other SEC schools. When I worked in North Carolina I always ran into a G or bulldog logo either on someone or on a vehicle. There are a ton of UGA people in Colorado.

Funny story ...7 or 8 years ago I was entering the tetons nat park, wearing my UGA hat. The guy at the booth said ..." that'll be a $50 entrance fee"...which I said something like (joking) ...."can't you cut me a deal?". He replies "I tell you what, if you get out of the car and sing rocky top I'll let you in free".....at which point I handed him my debit card.

I live in illinois and wear dawgs apparel all the time. Surprising, a lot people mistake our g with the packers. I know it's the same, but with the red and black, people still get it mixed up.

I get the confusing with the packers....but what annoys me the most living in the northwest is when people think that when I say "go dawgs " that I'm a Huskies fan.

I think that has to do with close proximity to Wisconsin. Ive got family in Michigan and over new years I went up and they have a UGA flag in the front yard and a friend of theirs came over NYE and she thought it was a Packers flag, and I asked her if she knew when Green Bay changed their colors to red/black and she looked dumb as hell

When I was in Somalia there were a bunch of kids wearing UGA hats. Like a lot. I never found out why.

I get the GB comment a lot in Kansas City too. Don't get it, to me Green Bay is pretty synonymous with the color green.

I might be an idiot, but I bark at anyone I see reppin sec gear. I live in the southwest so its not often. I was in denver last month and people everywhere were wearing dawgs gear, I think Bobo is in good hands. Even had conversations with people in elevators about certain players, threw me off a bit.

Don't be surprised. Like I said, CO has a TON of UGA fans. When I say a lot, I mean it. I have a dozen or so friends from college that live out there right now. I last went out to Denver/Westminster/Boulder SB 13 and I saw UGA decals on several cars and even ran into a Warnell student at DIA.

I've heard others say that about Colorado too. Why are the dawgs so well represented there?

A lot of post graduation Georgia kids head west to ski, wait tables, and smoke weed. I was one of them, but I ended up in Jackson, Wyoming. A lot of North Carolina kids out west too.

It's a fratty white people place with lots to do and legal drugs.

Think about your stereotypical college dude at UGA. Then think about when he's in his late 20s...denver makes perfect sense.

I had a one night stand with a chick my freshman year in college and when I gave her one of my old uga shirts with the old Uga on it she asked me why I had a Georgetown shirt. That was the last time I saw her tho
