I just read the OP's title. He should have said "career" instead of best, yo.

I'll take Brent Schaeffer. Made a terrible ole miss team just a little less terrible.
But seriously does anyone remeber the song those guys wrote about Coack O the year Schaeffer was qb. Pretty funny

He also notes "entire collegiate career" but obviously doesn't even know the definitions of the words he types.

Cam has two national championships as a starting collegiate QB.

Since the facts are already out there in regards to accolades, then that question is already settled and no point in asking. He must be referring to the most talented QB since anyone can have an opinion on that.

If we are speaking on pure talent then cam. If we factor in "leadership" then Tebow pulls out front.

ETA: I reserve the right to change my mind.

Newton was the best player...if you want a career achievement award give it to Tebow with McCarron in 2nd.

Cam. Had he not gotten kicked off Florida's team, Urban would have won at least two more titles and would probably still be at Florida

Tebow for sure. As a Georgia fan who got sliced up by both of them, I feel confident Tebow is the right choice.

Also I don't think Manziel is quite on the same tier as the others. I would say the same thing about Murray if he hadn't broken most of the conference passing records.

And the guy who threw Connor Shaw's name into the ring made me laugh.

Considering I would put Cam in the contest for Best QB in the NCAA since 1875, I'm going to go with Cam Newton.

The OP specifically said take entire career into account. Tebow had a full career worth of stuff, cam had 1 year.

Like I said earlier if it was an all-star team or a "who would you rather have" I'd take cam. But with teh parameters as they are it shoudl be tebow. And I mean hell if we're just talking about best career Murray should get a hell of a lot more recognition. He doesn't have the titles others do becauuse of his atrocious defense. that's not his fault.

I don't think I could bet against Cam in a college game

If the entire career has to be taken into account, I'll go with Tebow.

I give Tebow a slight edge over Newton for his leadership but there's no wrong answer between the two.

I assume you mean "leadership style" since Cam Newton was the undisputed leader of that 2010 Auburn squad.

And Cam Newton "led" that talent-deficient Auburn squad to an undefeated season, something Tebow's "leadership" was never able to accomplish a single time with talent in droves residing in Gainesville.
