Too bad for us he was already in the states when we lost to FSU... we would've had a better shot...

Thank you. Please have BOL post an article explaining the situation for us.

You do know that Shea from LSU247 also made a comment about him possibly being a grade risk, right? But you can ignore that because it doesn't fit your agenda

Ah you took the 2013 Auburn NC tshirt joke and switched it over to Bama. Clever.

So he picked no one and is delaying his decision? Lame.

It looks like bama got back on him. It seems they think they may lose one of their commit's. I guess his grades aren't an issue all of a sudden.

I don't know why this is so hard for Auburn fans to understand. He is a grade risk, not a grade casualty. There is a difference.

It's better to take a guy you know for sure is not going to be a casualty (Prince), but if you have a choice between a grade risk OT and no OT at all, you take the grade risk and hope for the best. Alabama has done this before with Montel McBride and Bo Scar last year. It didn't work out for McBride, but we had the spot available to take the gamble. This year it didn't look like we would have the spot until Prince took his OV to tOSU. We want to take at least one more OT, and Chidi ends up being it if Prince goes to tOSU.

From Ryan Bartow regarding Chidi:

quote:

Long shot to qualify (even a year from now) given the low test score and many core classes still needed.

The transcript (from Nigeria to Champagnat Catholic in Hialeah, Fla. to the current school in metro Atlanta) has some question marks as well.

Best case scenario for the kid, from multiple contacts, is to re-classify to 2016 and then perhaps, maybe, in a year or so he could have the needed academics to qualify, maybe.

Could have to take the JUCO route.

So he doesn't have enough core credits, has a low ACT, yet felt the need to reclassify to 2015?

Who are the people supposedly taking care of this kid?

The rumor is the NCAA is upping standards to qualify for next year so it would be easier for him to qualify this year

Sounds like 2017 might be his best chance to qualify
