may make your eyes bleed, but it's the source

He will replace Michael Hamlin who accepted a job with the Bills. Both were great safeties for us and I know McDaniel is excited from his Twitter. Cant wait for our secondary to play with even more nastiness now!

meanwhile, in Hypocrisyvilie....

quote:

During Swinney's weekly press conference a reporter asked the coach about his program's policy toward domestic violence. Swinney didn't hesitate to offer some strong comments, which are listed below.

"Zero tolerance," Swinney said. "We’re not going to deal with that kind of stuff. We had a player who is no longer here, a situation that we had in that realm.

So they can NOW have coaches who beat women, just not players who do it repeatedly. The players can do it one time, but then after that there's a 'zero tolerance' policy.

Good find CIYE!

We should be able to use this to our benefit during the course of D-Mac's employment.

Incredible. Seriously. They hire woman beaters as GAs and have the most famous building on campus named after a dude that advocated murdering african americans and they still recruit love like gangbusters. Sad commentary.

We are doing something wrong.

I'm not saying we don't, I just don't know for sure, but do we negatively recruit? I mean besides the thing where Spurrier refers to them as 'the team from the upstate,' or kind of off the cuff remarks.

I mean do we have any coaches who would say, "(Player X) you really don't want to go to clemson. Did you know they had Jesse Jackson on their campus recently to support the students who want to rename Tillman Hall on campus? 'Who is Tillman' you say? Tillman was a know outspoken racist and KKK memeber who founded clemson. Roughly 60 years ago something was going on and they decided to name their main hall after this publicly known racist."

"Also, (Ms Player's Mom), we take a lot of pride in helping our recruits develop to be good football players and good men. clemson has this GA, DeAndre McDaniel, who was a player there years ago...even after he was arrested for chocking his girlfriend, beating her and throwing her down a flight of stairs. The next time those clemson coaches talk to you, ask them about their Zero Tolerance policy when it comes to hitting women, (Ms Player's Mom), ask them if it only applies to some people and what's the selection criteria?"

Really, those are two home runs in negative recruiting right there, but do we have any coaches that will do it, or do it already?

I have always heard that spurrier does not like his staff to negative recruit. I also have heard tennessee fans say the same about butch, which is laughable.

Rooster could probably answer your question much better than i can.

I will say, while it is admirable if we dont, we are missing out because it, in my opinion, is incredibly effective. Lord knows , it sure seems to work for dabo.
