Anyone in the Savannah area that likes crappie fishing....the pond behind Love's Seafood is on fire.

Never have fished there...always caught a bunch in coleman lake on the Savannah River.

It was like fishing in a fish tank. Never been to Coleman Lake but sounds like I need to!

It isn't a true lake in the sense of the word, its on the SC side not all that far from the power plant in Effingham...by a huge bend in the river. Just go in by boat from the river. Haven't been there in a while, but caught some really nice ones in there last time. That and dang huge redbreast.
