Damn, I actually feel bad for those fans in that thread. I sympathize with them getting all excited about what would've been a home run hire, only to be kicked in the nuts. Feel bad for em, but glad we kept Kool.

Good to see Mizzou coaches in play like every other SEC program. Feels like shite to lose them, but it does show increased respect for the job Pinkel is doing.

I think Beckman was feeding Football Scoop from the beginning, deluding himself that he had fricked Pinkel out of one of his coaches. In part to get somebody good at his sinking ship of a program and another as a "screw you" payback at Pinkel.
Later, Football Scoop started using Matter as a source once the truth came out and proved his sources were wrong.

We're gonna lose Kuligowski eventually, and I'm okay with that. As long as it's to a real fricking program and as an actual DC.
frick that Illini co-coordinator shite. He's better than that. I'm all for guys getting a shot, but that fricking position would have been a step down for him.
