This is actually starting to piss me off. Could not be worse timing on this leaking.
I understand you may be pissed you were passed over, but damn... You've been with Pinkel for 23 years and the University has put at least a couple mil in your pockets. GP has passed raises a couple of times to get his assistants more money. Could you at least have waited until the ink was dry on the LOIs? Doing this a week before signing day is some serious scorned women shite.

I don't know who all issues awards, but isn't footballscoop the association that named Kul DLCOY in the first place? I don't think anyone else named him that. And now footballscoop is the one to come up with this rumor? It is all seeming kind of orchestrated to me.

Apologies, I had read an article last night out of Chicago stating that he is "expected" to take it. I talked to a couple of buddies of mine at U of I and they were all telling me rumor on campus is that he actually already took it last night.
Everything I heard last night were most likely rumors at this point.
Should be interesting to see what Kul does.

Well, I don't claim to know how this will turn out, but the situations aren't the same. Stec went somewhere to be THE guy, and he knows he'll be there for a few years at least, even if he doesn't succeed. Becoming co-dc is not much of a step up, you aren't 'the' guy, and there is a strong chance that next year you'll be looking for work. This strikes me as a play for a raise, unless there is some kind of personal conflict/hurt feelings going on.
Coach K deserves a raise and a title, if anyone on this staff does.
