I'm kind of new to this whole Netflix thing, I mean - I'm not young. But I'm learning.

Just watched 'Dredd'. The 2012 re-make of the Stallone flick back in the day.

It. was. awesome. Not something I would have paid to see in the theater, simply because I didn't know better.

So quick - what are some other hidden gems I might have missed?

And please don't say 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'. I made the mistake of watching that shite show and don't want to make another like it.

So help a brotha out. What should I be watching that's on Netflix?

My kids have already turned me on to Squidbillies. But mainly just on Youtube. Didn't know they were on Netflix.

I watched this for the first time a week or two ago. Turned it off halfway through because it is just that bad.

I'm currently on the second episode of Broadchurch. Pretty good so far. I believe it's a BBC show.

You were smarter than me. I forced myself to watch it all, hoping for some payoff. There was absolutely none.

If you haven't seen House of Cards yet, check it out. Season 3 is being released at the end of February.

Was wondering about that show. Premise looks cool.

Meanwhile, I am also binge watching 'Parks and Recreation'. That show is cracking me up. Awesome stuff.

The first time I saw Chris Pratt was as Star Lord in 'The Guardians of the Galaxy' movie. Seeing him as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Rec is endlessly entertaining.

Andy Dwyer and Ron Swanson are probably my 2 favorite TV characters.

One of the first things I started watching. Didn't want to, but my eldest demanded I watch it. Got to the 'Peachoid' episode and realized it was a classic show. Now my wife and I are watching it together. Outstanding stuff.

I am thinking of basing the rest of my life on the teachings of Ron Swanson.

SHERLOCK!

Can't believe I left off Sherlock from my first post. It's a must watch.

My wife found Sherlock! It's now one we watch together (along with House of Cards, Arrow, and Ken Burns' The Civil War).

I know better than to watch 'Dredd' with her.

I did find 'Stardust', thought she'd like it - did a 'date night' kind of thing and watched it with her.

Oh yeah - she liked it.

As far as Broadchurch goes, David Tennant is a very good actor. First thing I've seen him in outside of Doctor Who. Two completely different character types, is fantastic in both shows.

Let me add one thing that my youngest kid (who is currently in the Navy) had me watch that was way outside my comfort zone, but I ended up really liking it:

Attack on Titan

A Japanese Anime that (IMVHO) is really well done. In the same vein - Knights of Sedonia - is also very good.
