Interesting audio from ex Clemson OC and current SMU head coach Chad Morris about the former Rebel signal-caller. Whatever anyone wants to say was the main source of Sneads' attrition: lack of confidence, substance problems, etc. Houston Nutt fricked this kid up. Snead, with the tutelage from say Petrino, Saban, Spurrier - Hell, anyone other than Houston Nutt - and at the very minimum he's holding a clipboard making half a million dollars a year.

Not listening but I met him on a PXP location 2-3 years ago cant' remember when. He was either a company man/consultant in training or a company man/consultant.

I think it was a combination of Nutt and his dad. I don't know how reliable this is but I heard his dad was pretty hard on Jevan and put a lot of pressure on him.

I don't feel sorry for him. At any time, he can go to SMU and be a QB coach; get paid a few 100k to coach a child's game. Some people make life harder than it really is.

We all had a cocaine habit at ole miss.
Snead ran with some friends of mine. He's a major dick bag IRL IMO.
But yes, Nutt ruined him. He had talent and regressed. His dad was apparently psychotic about his pressure on Jevan too. Often leads to kids developing Dickbag-itis when the dad is a crazy sports dad.
