You only made this to brag to Auburn

You should worry about stopping Cardele before you keep worrying about us

Alabama's football has to count for a lot.

LSU is the only team in the SEC with 10+ SEC championships in football, basketball, and baseball.

I just don't know if baseball matters enough, though. If you weight them all equally, then maybe it's LSU. But I don't think you can do that.

I think one thing you can say about our conference is that we have an indisputable #1 at each sport:

Football - Bama
Basketball - Kentucky
Baseball - LSU

After that, it's a debate, and one that will invariably be hijacked by idiots.

As for the cumulative rankings, I don't think many people care about baseball and basketball outside of the aforementioned fanbases above. Sure it's nice to see some occasional success, but we don't really care, not like football. Not even close.

Effectively it's like asking who has the biggest house with the nicest bird feeder.

By sport

Alabama = football
Kentucky = basketball
LSU = baseball

If just these 3, LSU probably has the most balance of 3 sports even tho they have not dominated their primary sport in the same manner of the other 2.

perhaps, but not at the top

LSU baseball dominates Alabama baseball at the national level
LSU basketball dominates Alabama basketball at the national level
Alabama football dominates LSU football at the national level

If you just look at the SEC in the modern era the Gators may stack up as the most balanced.

Bama clearly better in football which is the sport everybody cares about.
Lsu clearly better in baseball in terms of national accomplishments

Lsu has more final 4s in basketball but bama is better in about everything else

Also noted: bama handily leads all time series in all 3 sports

National titles
Bama: 15
Lsu: 10

Sec titles without tournaments included:
Bama: 46
Lsu: 36

Sec titles with tournament included
Bama: 59
Lsu: 48

Bama is best

Explain why lsu better in basketball?

They have same ncaa tournament bids, no championships in tournament, 1 more sweet 16, 2 less combined sec regular season + tournament championships, worse winning percentage, have not fared well head to head vs alabama

I thought you Bammers only cared about hardware and not moral victories?

NCAA regionals aren't championships. Bama was in final 4 in football this year and nobody cares.

The fact you leave out there final four bid shows you're an idiot or trolling.

Football - Advantage Alabama

Beat LSU 21-0 in GoC : II

LSU , 4 national titles according to ncaa.com
Beat Alabama 9-6 in GoC : I

Basketball - Advantage LSU

Alabama
0 national championships
20 ncaa tournament appearances, 8 Sweet 16's but ZERO Final Four's

LSU
0 national titles according to ncaa (1 claimed before tournament)
20 ncaa tournament appearances, 9 Sweet 16's and 4 Final 4's

Baseball - Advantage LSU

LSU, 6 national titles (2nd all time) and 16 CWS appearances

Alabama, 0 national titles and 5 CWS appearances

Life is about winning at the national level and as a Bama fan you should know this. Bama could beat LSU every year in the regular season but if the Tigers are winning at the end they win. Trophy case is for winners at the end, not during the season.
