Auburn's players are very mediocre but play with great confidence. Our players are fairly talented but play scared.

I actually feel bad for Cooper and Randolph and would like to see them get to the tournament once in their careers, but that happening means Grant entrenches himself. Not sure I can stomach that.

Pearl has them playing some defense though. Doing anything he can to make things close - teaching flops on inbounds (hey, it works) and playing uptempo a lot. He is very good coach.
I know you hope he doesn't peal off and run at the first chance to go somewhere he can win right away. But, honestly, with the talent you have, how long will it take to actually win big, rather than just an NIT-type team?

We're getting a lot more players next year. Losing KT will hurt though, but we're actually getting a PG. It's pretty tough to play without one.
