I'm going with the theory that Pearl purposely blew this game so Grant will get a contract extension.

The Auburn guy lost the ball then kicked it with his shin before regaining possession. I've seen similar things called a kicked ball, but maybe those were just incompetent refs like most NCAA refs are.

kickball is a defensive call. He dribbled it off his own leg which is not an issue in my understanding

With one or two seconds left, I would just throw it to the other end of the court. Don't worry about rebounding just make sure someone touches it and keeps it in bounds.

They still would have gotten the ball, not us. But they would have had a second to throw a lob from out of bounds instead of what actually happened.

AU outplayed us imo. We stuggled to get shots off and they had layups all 2nd half. We have better athletes but they played better ball. I think we just willed the win at home versus AU kind of blowing it not ready to believe they could beat us at home. We got to get better at helping out under the basket. Bowers dominated us underneath.
