My point is that your insults towards St. Louis don't phase me. The state of Missouri outside of St. Louis is an underrated place in America. I can't help that the average American struggles with geography and associates the entire state with STL.

Sandwiched? I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Downtown is in Missouri. Chiefs are in Missouri. Royals are in Missouri. Museums, restaurants, shopping districts, population, etc etc. All in Missouri. The kansas side has some suburbs and they named their state after our city. Good for them

People that don't live here don't understand what's going on here, including outstate Missourians.
St. Louis has been a great place to live. What happened here could have happened in any similarly demographed city in the country - as evidenced by the reaction across the country in cities with young, substantial minority populations. The fuse just happened to ignite in Ferguson this time. 10 years ago it was Cincinnati. 20 years ago it was in Los Angeles. In the 1960's it was everywhere.
Ferguson is the net result of several problems. Some local, but most national.
