Glad the Big Ten passed on them.

So you could get Nebraska (a historic football name but nothing else...they're the only Big 10 school not in the AAU which Mizzou is a member of) and Maryland? Ok then.

Also, your own university president and chancellor E. Gordon Gee publicly stated that it was a mistake not to add Missouri. LINK

During the meeting, Gee also said he thought it was a mistake not to include Missouri and Kansas in earlier Big Ten expansion plans. Missouri has since joined the SEC.

ETA: Because they're so irrelevant, I forgot y'all added Rutgers over us too. Wow

Trust me, the VAST majority of Mizzou fans are thrilled we didn't end up in Big Rusty. I will happily never have to visit Iowa, Michigan, and Ohio in late fall, or ever for that matter.

Yeah. Because Maryland and Rutgers were such superior additions.

Maybe not superior, but better.

How, exactly? Better facilities? Nope. Better athletic teams, nope again.

Better campuses or college towns, prettier women? Nope, nope, and nope.

You protest too much. The Big Ten screwed up.

That's it in a nutshell.

Michael Drake is our university's President.

I love that you guys were lumped in with perennial football powerhouse Kansas.

Why do rednecks always bring up the attractiveness of women? The ugliest women I've ever seen are in the south, and the inferiority complex about it is tiring.

How the frick do you get off talking about anyone else's campus?

Walk off Mizzou's campus and you're in a nice college town. Walk off tOSU's campus and you're suddenly in the Third World.

Good job. I realize that. What was the position of E. Gordon Gee at the time of the statement I linked?

Now I know for sure you're trolling, although I suspected it prior to this.

We're done here.

He talks about Missouri. Hell did anyone hear Joakim Noah's comment on the City of Cleveland. He basically said he stayed in the hotel room, didn't want to go out anywhere, funny as hell.

ETA, guess it was depressing or some shite. Bunch of closed down factories, etc. Gloomy looking.

So? He's not from Ohio, currently is at WVU, and wasn't liked during his time at the university. I could care less about his opinion on anything.

Good thing Ohio State's campus isn't in Cleveland.

You're aware that Ohio State is in Columbus and not Cleveland, right?

You mentioned my state, so I'll bring up your whole state.

Heard Cincy also sucks. Youngstown not too iffy either. Wanna keep going.

Ok, I'm convinced you're trolling.

Your own university president and chancellor, regardless of where he's from or what was thought of him, was heavily involved in the Big 10's expansion as the chancellor of one of the most prominent Big 10 schools. That man publicly stated that they made a mistake by not getting Missouri. I'm pretty sure his opinion is extremely relevant regarding the 2010-2012 expansion saga.

And for what it's worth, whether you choose to believe me or not, I was one of the first people talking about Mizzou going to the SEC back in 2010 when the Big 10 was all the rage. I can say in all honesty that I'm glad we ended up in the Southeastern Conference as opposed to the Big 10. Enjoy your shithole region of America.
