I agree with this, but you're burying your head in the sand if you don't see the saltiness of UGA fans on here towards Mizzou winning the division 2 out of 3 years.

Losing to Georgia Tech probably hurt worse because that actually is an old and established rival. Like the fight in the Bama vs Auburn WBB game, real rivals cross single sport lines and it goes all out. Ole Miss and State could compete in tiddlywinks and there would be a 20 page thread on the Rant about it.

I do think the Arkansas vs Missouri has the potential to become a real long term rivalry which could be good for both especially if Mizzou can build up their traveling fans as that usually is a good indication of rival status engaged.

I'm glad the league is a little more western. I got tired of pretending to be all southern all the time.

I advise that you edit this post ASAP before Mr. Porker sees this.

I think Auburn vs A&M has potential based on the last two editions.

Maybe. Re the SECw I've been to games at Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, and Mississippi State. Arkansas and Auburn fans are by far the least a-hole-ish. (State weren't really assholes; more like they expected us to be. Like they've been kicked around by dicks so long they think everyone's a Bammer). Rivalries are better when there's some actual respect, so I'd be down with some with Auburn.

Yeah, the Arky/Mizzou rivalry seems to be taking. It can only get more heated in future because both schools are the only big dogs in their states. Should be fun to watch its development.

It only participates in women's bowling and event attendance piss contests (due to Title IX regulations, piss contests are confined to Mizzou).

Worst conference ever.

I know it's the "cool" thing to do on the Rant to "deny" rivalries with people, but speaking realistically, the Arkansas-Mizzou rivalry will take off. Geographically and culturally it makes complete sense, and as you said, both are the flagships of their state (although Mizzou is a flagship of a much larger and more relevant/wealthy state). Regardless, there is plenty of hatred and disdain to fuel one of the (future) premier rivalries in the SEC.

To the arkytards....you're welcome for bringing yall relevancy

They've been sucking that Mizzou Tiger dick (bitch) for years. I'm glad our conference move will finally allow the pigs to participate in a real rivalry.

If I were to rank them, they'd be:
1. Arky/Mizzou
2. Aggy/Loving Cocks
3. Aggy/Cocks

UGA is 2-1 vs Mizz, the loss coming with Murray and our 3rd string/scout team offense. Winning the East is great but you lost in ATL. Cling to that though.
