I cant say anything. The interior of Tiger Stadium is embarrassing.

Sanford is the most boring stadium I've been to. And at least Knoxville isn't a one horse town and has things to do. And our stadium next to the Tennessee River is one of the best scenes in CFB.
Different strokes.

just as a reminder this OP linked to an article written on a UGA fan blog about the condition of the stadium. Highlights include:
1. There are a lot of things that need improving at Sanford Stadium,
2. dingy concourses and squalid restrooms in the older part of the structure
3. Mark Richt’s request that they upgrade the players’ locker room.
4. stadium’s subpar facilities
5. the ones in the older part of the stadium are flat-out disgusting.
6. they’re not properly maintained.
7. At the first game of the season... a few minutes after the gates had opened... the men’s restroom nearest to my section (104) already was filthy, apparently never having been cleaned during the offseason.
8. the concourses smell bad,
9. (concourses) dim and unattractive, just bare concrete corridors.
10. The narrow concourses also are dangerously crowded, since they were built for a stadium that seated about 50,000, not the current 92,746.
11. crowding in the student area early this past season, that can lead to dangerous pushing and shoving and frayed tempers.
12. The volume of the PA for music is excessively loud, at times painful. Worse, the sound quality is not good. The announcer sometimes breaks up and frequently the officials on the field can’t be heard.
13. The interior of most of the stadium (not counting the club level and deluxe boxes) also is kind of drab.
14. Plus, there is hardly any of UGA’s football history/heritage represented in the main part of the stadium. The mascot cemetery is about it.
15. AD: "We look forward to using data from this survey to build on our conference’s reputation of having the best gameday experiences in the country.” Unfortunately, they have a long way to go to make that the case at Sanford Stadium.
I'd add.
16. The stadium is the worst looking of the big 6... which how is UGA a big 6 if it never won any of the 16 BCS championships?

Knoxville reminds me of downtown Nashville in the sense that every where you walk it seems to be uphill.

Yeah, my calves are always shot the day after a game. Nashville has a little, but nothing like Knoxville. It will crush your legs

Sorry couldn't resist...Tennessee coeds are just fine, I was completely playing. This is the kind of posts I make after a nightcap lol.
And as far as Sanford Stadium goes, shake off the hate, because it appears to have the same issues most big stadiums do. Namely, the stadiums were expanded to bring in revenue first, and are now playing catch-up with improving the concourses, concessions, and restrooms.
Sanford Stadium has it's design quirks, like most stadiums of a certain age do, but let's not forget that it's the fifth-largest stadium in the SEC, with the sixth-most premium seating. Nice combination.
As far as comparing it to Tiger Stadium, it's not really fair at this point, since Tiger Stadium has been renovated more recently, which is why it seats more, has more premium seating, more chair-back seats overall, more standing room only space, more field level seats, more exits, and more concessions and restrooms.
But all of that is also true by comparison with just about every other stadium in the conference as well, with only a couple of exceptions for a couple of stadiums in certain areas. No other stadium, not even the new Kyle Field, has as many advantages in as many areas as Tiger Stadium. Not to forget, with about the best sight lines in any stadium, with the seats closer to the field than most of the other conference stadiums, especially along the sidelines. And the furthest nosebleed seat in Tiger Stadium is closer than the norm for the furthest nosebleed seat in any other stadium. In most case, much closer.
That's what you get when you build a stadium without a track in it at the beginning, and expand smartly over the years.

I like Knoxville, and have always had a good time there, but if you can't find something to do in Athens, Georgia you've got extreme social issues.

I like Sanford
Its not the palace of CFB some UGA fans think it is, but its a nice place to watch a game.
Favorite seats are the in endzone by the bridge/scoreboard

While the design kind of sucks in keeping the noise in the stadium and while the concourses are way too god damn narrow (that bathroom thing hasn't been a problem for me but I usually sit over in the filled-in endzone where concessions and bathrooms are plentiful) we take pride in how darned purdy the stadium is.
Just hard to beat this view
Sanford could use a little more love but Georgia has been focusing on fixing 1) Reed Plaza 2) millions on the scoreboard and 3) Wifi/Cell service.
There is more to do but one thing I'll note is that Bill King is a dork. That guy usually shits rainbows until the shite hits the fan. I think I agree with him 10% of the time. He'll blow rainbows up Richt's arse and then he shits on random things like Reed Plaza. I find Reed Plaza to be lovely.
One thing that he doesn't hit on is food. We need better concessions. fricking Bryant Denny has dreamland, Ole Miss has corkys, we have non-descript chicken tenders and red baron pizza. GET US ZAXBYS AND MORE CHIC FIL A

All they have to do is copy the brick facade on the left in Pic 1 and paste it onto the bare concrete on the right. And, voila, it's fricking gorgeous. And, sure, hang a banner or two if you want. Nobody can read what the flags in the East endzone say.
