I'm not sure being in the title race pretty much every year is failure. The only team I know that won a SEC championship and was still considered a failure was LSU circa 2011.

No, having that lsu emblem next to your name invites stereotypes that are true. Last time Alabama didn't have double digit wins is 2007. Last time they weren't ranked number 1 at some point in a season was 2007. Lets talk about the next time LSU will finish in the top 3 in the SEC west, let alone talk about post season talk.

A little perspective for you LSU fans.
Bama just won 12 or more game for the 5th time in the last 7 years
LSU has only won 12 games 3 times in it's ENTIRE HISTORY. Bama's so called "decline" would be the golden years of LSU football.
Or any other team in the SEC.
