You would think his order would be somewhere in the range of

Oklahoma - ole miss

Georgia

Florida. And everyone else

At this point in time based on any news posted

Two major issues:

1) Muschamp- Not just negative recruiting at AU, but also was an incompetent negligent and possibly malfeasance recruiter prior to Florida rectifying the massive mistake of his continued employment (rumors abound of him basically telling people to hold off during the season cause even be could see he wasn't smart or successful enough to keep his job)

2) Mac is a massive unknown and it's hard to get recruits to gamble their future on a guy whose at best 50-50 to still be Florida's HC when they graduate in 4 years.

Because if you discuss the class you are discussing the staff that was fired. It is pointless to discuss that since it holds no meaning.

UF will sign 20-22.

Staff is doing fine. Playing catch up. Most staffs have recruited these kids for 2yrs, UF's staff has recruited for 2 weeks. They will close strong and finish around 15-20 in rankings.

This will be 1 of the worst big6 classes in modern history. Monumental shift of power to knoxville due to boom/mac. Could be looking at a lost decade in gainesville.

When was the last time UF had a coach as bad as Will Muschamp? You'd have to go back to the 1970s

How did you guys do in recruiting when WM was there? Thats what I thought.

The coaching change so late is what killed your class. Muschamp and TRob are both EXCELLENT recruiters. I guess they just "got" their reputations as top notch recruiters AFTER they left UF? Get real.

WDE and Good luck to you on NSD.

They were excellent defensive recruiters. God awful at recruiting offense. You are right though, it has more to do with the new staff being late to the game, more than anything.

They were some of the worst offensive recruiters I have ever seen. No doubt UF is loaded on defense.

But the offense is a fricking TRAIN WRECK.

Don't be such a fricking homer.

Muschimp was not a great recruiter.
He recruited great DBs and Defensive linemen, but left UF without any LBs.
He basically thought recruiting OL was unimportant. With the kind of O we have shown for the last 4 years only very few good O players came, and NONE were developed.

I think we will be lucky if we finish top 20, there are areas of great needs like OL, RBs and LBs. If we can get Martez Ivey to stick, get a few other OL, and recruit LBs, a few WRs and RBs I will be happy. It is going to be our worse class since Spurrier because Muschamp really destroyed the O of the program, and a lot of players are leaving early because of the change in coaching.

It is an uphill battle for coach Mac. If we sign something over 20 kids, get our areas of need filled I would call this a successful class even if it is anything less than ranked 20.

Cowart is not an area of need for us, so yes, losing him and Cece will hurt, but will not be that crucial. We shall see.

certainly it has some, and now we see a little bit of Agg-swag is kicking bevo in the nads...

looks like the in state big-dog-name recognition will not be enough for bevo and the Gatahs..

At this point, I think we're just banking on getting any of the big 3, flipping a couple of 4 stars and then filling in the rest with three star kids that would love a Florida offer. Not terribly impressive but just enough to salvage the class and build towards the next one.

that would be a "banner" class at Mizzou, and we have won the division with less. It's taken a long time for Mizzou to put together this years class, but I realize expectations at UF are a little different.

Alabama struggled before too.
Programs go through cycles
Florida will be back one day.
Count on it.

You are butthurt. He almost played for a NC at UF. His OC for that year left him high and dry. The guy he hired, who Saban wanted, was a flop. He allowed his OC to recruit the players he wanted. His only mistake was trying to change offensive schemes, which can kill the career of any coach. Mac Brown and Tuberville are two examples. But to say he sucks at recruiting is just you allowing you emotions make you act like a women.

He was terrible recruiting on the offensive side of the ball and left us woefully thin at OL. The development of talent on that side of the ball was equally as bad. Shouldn't really be a big deal to AU fans.

FWIW, you are off on your years. His OC in 2012 was the same guy he later had to fire that you called a flop. Weis was the OC in 2011 when we went 7-6.
