Dabo is a pretty good coach and he played at Alabama. Clemson to Alabama would be an upward career move. Kinda seems like a natural fit. I don't know if there's bad blood between the two parties that would make this not happen but that's what you're making it seem like, so maybe it won't happen.
No bad blood at all. As a matter of fact, folks mostly like Dabo around the program...just not as the head coach at Alabama.

Didn't Miami have a string if legends at one point. So I would not say it is impossible but is unlikely.

I don't see how Dabo to Bama is upward career move. There is nothing about Alabama itself that recruits good players. The good players are going there because of Saban. If players like Dabo then why does he need to be at Alabama to get them? I think Clemson is better location than T town too. Alabama does have a nice campus, at least on google maps street view.

If Dabo continues to establish himself as the man in Tigertown, why would he want to leave to go coach at a university where he will be expected to win titles soon? Dabo has always had good recruiting classes at Clemson. Clemson gave him a shot when he was just a WR coach.

How was Bama doing prior to Saban?

Clemson won a title in 1981 and was a top 10 program in the 80's. So why is Alabama a better place, given Dabo is going to be the same person and coach no matter where he is. He is getting studs like Sammy Watkins, CJ Spiller, Artavius Scott out of heavily recruited states like Florida, while at Clemson. Obviously those players were recruited by Saban or Alabama prior to Saban, too.

I do believe this. There is nothing special about Alabama. You are getting players because of Saban, who has 4 recent titles and was a NFL coach for awhile. Just winning one title will have a positive effect on recruiting.
