So Birmingham has apparently won the bid to host the 2021 World Games ( LINK), which includes such sports as Canoe Polo, Floorball and Korfball. Apparently it's also included "American" Football as an invitational sport at some games?
Good times.

Will Larry Langford be out of prison in time to see his dream come true?

I posted this in another thread, but Football has been played before in the World Games. Would not be opposed to having some sort of Alabama-affiliated team be Team USA.

Mentioned that briefly above. I have no idea how teams are assembled for this thing. To be honest, I can't recall ever even hearing of the World Games prior to hearing about it on the news tonight.
Apparently international "American" football is governed by the IFAF and is based in France? LINK Can someone tell me how in the hell that happened? Did we lose a war at some point that I'm not aware of?

I don't know.
Germany beat Sweden in the 2005 World Games. Considering Birmingham is the host city, it should absolutely be a priority to bring it back and win the gold. I'd turn out to watch a team of former Alabama/Auburn players line up against Team France.

Hell yes! Plus we have plenty of stadiums around town to host the smaller games that nobody would want to attend.
