Typical ocelot behavior, posts for hours after a loss, nowhere to be found after a win.

Sorry Mike disappointed you with a victory.

You would know, given that you're obsessed with me.

Maybe you should check out the fricking game thread, tool.

God it must be so easy to go through life being so simple minded.

Awww did I upset your fashion sensibilities?

Of course, I mainly focused on how shitty we looked defensively. But don't let your obsession disrupt your continuous efforts to frame a false narrative so that you can feel better about cousin Mike.

Wrong. Like I said, maybe you should check the fricking game thread.

What is it with you and Dale's self-righteousness? It doesn't matter WHAT people say, it matters WHEN they say it? You dumbfricks are an embarrassment to the University. Sincerely hope they didn't actually give someone completely devoid of critical thinking skills a degree.

But since you're so obsessed, let me break it down for you.

I watched the game from the beginning with my dad, who flew out to help us out while I recover from surgery. I commented/watched the game until the point in which dad had to leave our house to go pick up my wife from BART. While he was gone I used my AMAZING, NEVER HEARD OF BEFORE TECHNOLOGICAL MARVEL known as a DVR to pause the game. The game STAYED paused until he returned (40 minutes or so). Now, not being one to ruin the surprise, I didn't keep up with the game thread as to avoid spoilers. I didn't RETURN to the game thread to offer my final thoughts until the game had probably been over for an hour because (hoping you've already put this together) that's the point in which I finished watching the actual game.

I hope this satisfies your obsession, Mr Timekeeper.

I'm sorry you had to get your head surgically removed from your arse, hope you feel better.

I'm sorry that you're so, so young.

Thank you.

I just don't get you, man. I have nothing against you whatsoever. Nor Dale for that matter. I've thrown out olive branches to both of you to show that, TO ME, you can have disagreements about how the football/basketball programs operate at times without it meaning that either party is racist, out to get someone, stupid, or otherwise.

But what I get from you and Dale anytime I express any concern on anything is ad hominem attacks. I get it. You hate my opinions, but at least they're supported. You can disagree with that as much as you want. But I support my opinions. I post some lengthy arse shite. I'm guessing most people just ignore it but I've explained, repeatedly, why I have issues with certain aspects. I don't say, "God we suck" and just leave it at that. I explain why I might feel a certain way.

So maybe, in the interest of being a little less immature, you guys could try arguing my points instead of the ad hominem attacks? Wouldn't that be a little more constructive? Because the "trolling" nonsense isn't adding anything to this board whatsoever.

Who was it that fouled at the end of regulation? I was at the game and couldn't tell who it was.

Portis looked like the one who committed the foul but I don't know if that's who they actually called it on. Qualls did a good job of backing off at the last second.

It was Portis, probably the worst moment of his career at Arkansas. If we lose that game it's an all time bonehead play.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. Of course, he made up for it pretty nicely.

I get exactly what you're saying, but they're not going to stop; it's their schtick & I believe they actually get off on it, so I suggest not wasting your time on those particular posters. Who gives a shite about their inane comments, or opinions with no explanations, or what they think about your opinions? Just try to post to the more mature posters - there are some left who haven't been completely run off by the bullshite.

Was actually just talking about this earlier in another thread ...
quote:

... over abundance of stupid, arrogant, imbecile posters who believe they know it all because they can google stats, but have never touched a ball in their lives, except their own, nor know any history of their own school's programs, there is no point, many times, in even attempting to make constructive comments based on experience & actual knowledge since the morons know everything already and have an aversion to listening, learning, & having true discussions. The only thing they know to do is make ignorant, juvenile retorts in response, so it is frustrating to try to comment constructively & knowledgeably to idiots who believe they know all when they actually know very little - just regurgitate stats & what they have read on twitter or some other social media site.

I wouldn't call supporting the team "schtick" but whatever.

At least we don't wait around for an Arkansas team to lose a game and then start spamming the board with bullshite whining.

i like ocelot- my only issue is sometimes when he gets pissed he seems to take it out on arkansas fans instead of just venting in general about things. i used to have a friend like that, someone would piss him off and then he'd scream at me, and i'd be like wtf did i do?

i like stone too- but he hates females.

so i'm at a draw. i say we all hug it out and do the hog call.

This makes no sense. ... I don't believe there's an Arkansas poster here who wants the Hogs to lose a game or event in any sport. They might get frustrated with the coach(es), disagree with them sometimes, & rant about it, but that only shows they give a shite about us losing. If they didn't care, or actually wanted us to lose, they wouldn't blow off steam & rant sometimes. ... Coaches are not above criticism & neither are players if it's about their performances. That doesn't mean those criticizing don't support the team or want us to do well; actually, it's just the opposite; otherwise they wouldn't care.

You left off the rest of my quote.

Look at the board after the Ole Miss loss and compare that to the board last night after a win. It makes me sick honestly.

The "spamming & whining" part? I just took that to mean "venting," but I'll look at the game threads.

Missy you're spot on with it all.

You can tell it's a generational gap thing, too. Stone hog and the others were just little kids back in the early and mid 90s. All of their lives they have pretty much only known the shite show.

Nolan had to build up and MA will, too. The difference is for those of us who witnessed the Nolan era who weren't wearing diapers....... We knew where we were headed. Many don't "get that" with MA yet.

I'm an in betweener I guess. He gets another year from me. Its all about the tourney. Period. Comparing records and stats to yester year means jack shite. It's about the tourney and how far you get in it.
