Have contract details come out? I would guess for more money.

I think there was probably some staleness and one of them mentioned it and he left. I don't know who instigated it and I don't think it matters.

I think Saban probably wouldn't have forced his hand but I don't think he was torn up about it either.

I truly have no clue and don't see the need/value for anyone to spin it one way or the other.

It could be that he wasn't a fit with his staff or that he wanted to be a part of something new at Auburn under a respected DC with a lot of visibility.

How could I presume to know which is more likely the case? What difference does it ultimately make? He'll either pan out or won't.

He couldn't turn a blind eye to the corruption anymore. Needed to climb out of the filth and come up where the air was clean and crisp.

The real reason is he was sick of Little Debbie's cake rolls being in all the vending machines. He's an Oatmeal Cream Pie kind of man.

Who frickin cares.

Worry about why LSU didn't change any offensive coaches to improve that horrible offense, yet had to hire a new defensive coordinator when defense wasn't the problem.

Why would cake rolls be in there over oatmeal creme?

Same coaching staff as 2013.. we just replaced 85% of our offensive production and found a QB worse than JJ

Damn reasonable response.

Just when you think our obsession with each other couldn't get any worse, we have a week of arguing over why a position coach left one school to go to the other.

This is an insanely stupid thread, why would an LSU fan even start it?

Cause all the oatmeal were already eaten.
