Made my 5 year old cry.

This is the last game of this shite I'm watching this year. Farewell, Kim.

I'm throwing in the towel on this team. I support Kim and I want the team to win, but I honestly have to force myself to watch this and it's terrible.

See y'all for Spring Training.

Anderson looks like he's in WAY over his head. This is why you've seen no other P5 schools hire a D2 coach, let alone a 58 year old D2 coach with no prior D1 experience. If guys transfer after the season I don't see him lasting more than 3 seasons.

I have a really hard time believing that the talent on our team is so inferior, even being young. I look at some of the names individually and I like what's there.

I like Williams.
I like Gant.
I like Teki.
I like Isabel.
I like Allen.
I like Wright.

Either I'm way off on these guys or something is way wrong.

I wanted to be wrong in my opinions of this hire. But it seems like my fears were warranted. I love Mizzou, and hope he can turn things around. But so far I'm not impressed.

He is. Some of us told you this when he was hired. Just saying.

Better to scrap this "true son" experiment and right the ship at this point. I mean, come on folks.

I hear ya kilo but we can't just do that. Like it or not, we got what we got for 4-5 years. I really find myself apathetic about hoops and that sucks. I used to melt over games like tonight. Not anymore. I find myself hoping that this year is just a sacrificial year and next year will magically be different. Just don't know anymore.

This talent is just not as subpar as the play. I just can't get past that.

We have a little talent, but no consistency out of anyone besides Clark and Shamburger. Talent is a big part of the problem though. We just don't have enough guys who can consistently get buckets.

What's worse though, is the team did look like it was improving for a stretch but now they look as bad as ever. Maybe Kim should have had them practice some offense in the offseason, IDK.

I didn't expect much this year, but this shite show is not acceptable ever. We better be a whole lot better next year and he better start bringing in some players.

Bingo.

Its not the "losing" its the way in which this team is playing.

Im sorry but Alden bringing in a career D2 coach is unacceptable and embarrassing. I dont care if he is a "true son". We all are true sons. fricking Christ. I really cant believe that this is an acceptable level for this BB program.

The offense is just unbearable. We don't have many shooters. We have no back to the basket scorer. Maybe one guy who can get his own shot. Our "bigs" are weak with the ball. I like Allen, he plays hard, but how many bunnies can one dude miss? Good lord!

All those are issues, but a coach has to find a way to work with what he has. Press, try to creat some runouts and easy buckets. Something. iDK, just do something for fricks sake. This abortion of a season can't end soon enough.

I mentioned last game that this has always been a chronic problem for Mizzou, even when they were good they've missed so many bunnies its ridiculous. To think of how many big games they could have won if they didn't miss the easy buckets so often.

KA is a good hire and in time even some of you guys will see it. The problems are youth, inexperience, lack of size, injuries & young guys doing stupid things (on and off the court).

We have 6' or shorter guards being guarded by 6'4" or taller guards & vice versa. We have literally no post game. You all know about the injuries. We're starting a combined 4 SO & FRs almost every game.....that's damn young. Everyone knows about the suspensions, dismissals, etc.

KA was dealt a 7-2 off-suit and he's on the 'button'.

There's a serious lack of confidence right now among the kids.

Also, we looked a lot better when J3 was scoring 18 points a game there. Most of the kids we're relying on are freshman, and most freshman are up and down. Sophomores can be too. I'm going to remain on the fence about KA for this season. He's made some mistakes this year, but he's also had his moments. Hopefully we don't lose half the roster this offseason.

Let's face it this program has been on a downward spiral since the Elite 8 game with HCMA. Yes Frank Haith had a great first year with MA's players but he is doing pretty well this year in Tulsa with someone else's players.

Let HCKA have a chance here. The cupboard was bare. We are not Kentucky. Freshman and tranfers probably are getting 75% of the playing time. Let the Freshman get some valuable growing lessons and come back strong next year.

As a Royals fan I have to say that this season will hurt....but you have to take the hard times to enjoy the good ones that much more.

I usually begin drinking prior to tip...it marginally helps.

I get what you're saying. And I get it takes time. I get that we're young. I get that there's injuries. But I still can't get past the belief that the talent on the court is still better than the record. So what would be the reason for that?

There are other, lesser programs historically, that are younger, that are banged up, and while not a tourney team necessarily, are certainly showing better. Not pissy. Not upset about KA even. And the fact that I'm not upset is probably more concerning than if I was.

Easier suggestion...change the channel prior to tip and wait for next year to see if there's any improvement.

Any bets on if wrestling draws a bigger crowd than basketball?

I think it would go a long ways with the players if the coaches showed some emotion during the game. Young guys especially who need confidence built up will benefit to see an outward display of positive emotion from the staff.
