So every Longhorn fan who has the cable/DirectTV in the state pays over a dollar for the SEC Network, and in trade some of us Aggies have to pay less than 50 cents of it back?
You got yourself a deal partner.

All the channel does is replay games with Texas A&M.......what's the point of calling it the LHN?

The LHN is one of the best things to happen to A&M. It gave us a path to the SEC. It makes sure that the sips play 3 games a year and have all of their coaches shows on a network no one sees. It is a huge detriment to the rest of the BDF and virtually guarantees that it will stay #5 amongst the Power 5 Conferences.
It's also a constant source of humor with great programming like Fozzy's Safari and hours of programming watching a nutless bovine walk around in a field waiting to take a dump. I must admit that one of the most entertaining things I have ever seen on TV though was switching over to watch a panel of sip players "analyze" the Arkie game as it happened and get to see them get drunk on TV and essentially agree "Damn, we suck!"
BTW, it was also a throw in with the rest of the ESPN package and added almost nothing to anyone's bill. Unlike the SECN which was brought on under a separate agreement.

How so? Unlike the SEC Network the LHN pays a set rate for the content to the university during this part of the contract. Therefore they don't really "get" any of that money, at least they don't get any extra than they would get paid if no Aggies sent them anything. We will certainly make a piece of the SEC Network revenue coming in from Longhorns because that deal is different. Maybe a small piece (aka divided by 15), but with incremental revenue something is larger than nothing.
And that is not even considering the elephant in the room, which is the LHN on average provides Texas with less than 10% of its AD revenue and for that small chunk of change the network has ruined their conference for competitive football exposure and recruiting. For our 50 cents we get from under the longest shadow that existed in college sports, and put ourselves in a situation where they never can control the narrative in the state like they did in the 00's.
You will not find a bigger fan of the LHN than me. I will happily pay that DirecTV bill knowing that money goes into fricking Baylor out of the playoffs, or ruining the OU program from the outside in.

Does the LHN carry a weekly show where Texas recruits decommit from the school?
