I finally got to finish this at lunch, didn't want to comment until I did.
First of all to Tbird: your basketball analysis is great. Seriously this fanbase is not worthy of that level of insight. Also I have to say your overall level of analysis is so far above what we normally hear with sports radio (like a Mike and Mike) that it is almost jarring. Keep up the good work.
Secondly, don't be self-conscious about your voice it is fine. People were blowing that out of proportion, and ALL radio personalities take a while before they can lock into their "radio voice." You don't need to apologize to us, your voice is perfectly fine as is.
Third, great job breaking down the Superbowl. You pretty much single-handedly made me look forward to the game a little. Great insight.
Finally, I agree with you 100% about our former DC. He became a scapegoat for things outside of his control.

Oh damn Tbird I was just kidding about your voice man. You sound better than half the idiots who spout off about sports on the radio. Keep doing what you're doing. Both of y'all do a great job.

Thanks, man! I appreciate that, especially about the "radio voice." I've accepted my voice for what it is for the most part, but the hardest part about doing these with Stryker sometimes is probably just trying to keep it profanity-free, as funny as that sounds Been talking sports with him for a long time, and sometimes I want so badly to start cussing a blue streak but I don't think that'd go over too well other than on this board
Yeah, I think it's a function of the times we're in more than anything, too. People want results, and they want them yesterday, extenuating circumstances be damned. Not saying Snyder was perfect, but not all of the problems fell solely on him. Also, replacing him wasn't going to be a panacea--it had to be the right hire. I really think we landed something special with Chavis if he's given the leash by the fans and administration to do his thing.
