Have you ever considered that the Bible is propaganda, and satan is the good guy

Had a college buddy who claimed to believe just that. Certainly an interesting viewpoint.

Satan is always trying to get people to have fun
Satan just wants you to do what you feel like doing

God didn't want you to eat bacon, until one day he decided, "I guess it's ok" and gave Peter a dream about it. Then it was fine.
God prescribes death as a punishment for all sorts of shite.

Satan never attempts to punish anyone.

What say you OT?

I actually have considered it, but I came to the realization, that in that scenario, chaos would be the only constant, because that is what lack of caring would result in.

I'm not religious, but I know there is order in nature, and that leads me to believe that there is a supreme being that cares about such things, even though I don''t know his name.

You should try reading "Job: A Comedy of Justice" by Robert Heinlein. It uses that exact premise. Basically God gets bored and wants to repeat the trials of Job with a modern man and Satan says "No, that's okay, I'm not gonna let you use me to torture some poor schmuck again." Then God says "frick you, I'm gonna do it anyway," and Satan has to step in and save the guy from God's douche baggery.

So that would mean that we just have the names of them misplaced? That Satan is the one that really cares, and his reputation is bad because of the prehistoric version of Facebook(people talking to each other)and that Satan just never could convince people to write good things about him.

I lol'd at this.

As for my actual answer to the OP, even if it has crossed my mind, it was immediately swept aside. I've seen enough of satan's influence in present day, and I've seen God's power and love at work as well. I've more than made up my mind on the matter, thank God.

Or "thank Satan," if you roll that way
