Given the far too generous opinion many on here have of the worst SEC head coach in the last decade or so, I thought it'd be interesting to share a post from another site that details his trail of destruction:
quote:

If the guy is deadseat on joining Muschimp's Next Fukkup, more power to him! Chimp was on Saban's staff, and got demoted to position coach when Saban took the NFL job. Chimp was butthurt and left. Great move by Lil Nick. Chimp went to Auburn, promptly started bytching about excessive offense and apparently got The Riverboat Gambler to listen and adopt Mushball. Awbie has a losing season, Gambler gets fired, Chimp moves to Texas. Chimp convinces Texas that offense is to be disdained bc it puts defense in tough position, Brown apparently listens, TEXAS has a losing season, Chimp moves to UF, Mack Brown resigns the next year. Chimp comes to UF, has one winning SEC season in 4 years, destroys offense and roster, gets fired.

TL, DR - Will Muschamp derails teams, degrades talent and then since he's a classic suck up who always ducks responsibility tosses everyone but his own Cro-magnon arse under the bus on the way out the door. But hey, enjoy Aubbie just don't act shocked when Gus and he start fighting, remember he specifically can't understand why anyone would sign to play defense on a HUNH team.

The generous opinion is that everyone thinks you're an idiot.

Other than perhaps John L who took a program as high as Florida was (56-12 in the 5 years before Boom took over; stacked with at worst the third best roster in the SEC) to as low as he took them ( 29-22 over his tenure, a roster barely in the top half of the SEC) .

Really hope a grown man didn't write that.

Looking past the way it's written, there's really nothing correct about this. Tubs was a defense geared coach. Offense has always taken a back seat on his teams. And Muschamp left at the end of 2007 season (9-4); Tubs was fired after the 2008 season (5-7) due to the trainwreck offense he tried to implement after Borges left

Bottom line, Muschamp's defenses at Auburn were ranked in the top10. Even in 2008 (the year after Muschamp left) the defense was solid. But hey, believe what you want

He wasn't a good HC, which is surprising. Any person that doesn't think he is an elite DC is an absolute idiot. UF's D's were stout under him. His problem was he couldn't decide what O he wanted to run.....and had OC's that couldn't recruit a quality QB.

Florida fans are melting so bad right now. Muschamp didnt have the success they were hoping, but now that he is at Auburn, he is raiding all of their recruits

He has had top 10 defenses almost every year. He recruits and brings energy. No one will change Gus' offense.

Which is such a fallacy because everytime we played a good team like Bama, we were throttled.

Good defenses don't give up the yards and points UF did. Ever.

I think you'll find out quickly how much he's fallen off.
