I'm hoping to move out of my townhouse pretty soon into an adult place where I'll have some room for a man cave. I'm planning on loading it out with UGA stuff and was looking for ideas. I never got my UGA diploma framed, so I'll probably start there.
What kind of memorabilia do you guys have?

I have stuff that is given to me. In all honesty though, if I were to build a Georgia man cave, all I'd do is paint it red and have cool Georgia themed photographs and paintings. Framing shirts and stuff just seems empty to me.'

don't paint the entire room red...seriously..

I just finished my man cave. I have a lot of stuff, below is a snapshot of some must haves IMO. I put my frame diploma in the office and I’m looking to get some Chubb and Gurley memorabilia.
--Framed panoramic picture of Sanford (Branden Smith sweep against SCAR)
--Authentic UGA helmet (Riddell Speed)**this is my favorite
--Signed UGA football (Richt and AJ Green)
--Large 18x24 picture with every ticket stub from every game I’ve attended (finance made it as a collage, it’s pretty cool).
--Large 46” Carved Wall Art (“G”): this is on the wall as you walk up the stairs leading to the cave
--Dedication UGA vs Yale framed poster
--Dave Helwig’s Art framed (2007 vs. LSU, Blackout vs Auburn, 2014 vs. Auburn)
--Signed mini-helmet (Aaron Murray)
--Athens art (Georgia Theatre, Arch, etc...)
--above the TV, it reads GATA (fiance made them pretty cheap, purchased the letters at Micheals and painted them).
--National Title long neck Coke bottle (you can find these anywhere for cheap)
Be careful when purchasing autographed memorabilia. Unless you obtain the autograph yourself, chances are it’s fake. People are now replicating used certificates from JSA and PSA.

So true,you will regret it
I painted the room a gray-silver then 3 feet up from the floor I painted the red, white, and black stripes all the why around the room. Then I put UGA stuff on the walls that I have been given over the years, Looks great if I do say so myself

I used to collect baseball memorabilia, but here are a few things to keep in mind.
Sugned stuff....get from a reputable dealer. ALWAYS best to get is signed in person. Footballs are nice and look good, but the ink tends to fade even when kept in a UV protected case. (VERY similar to baseballs. I had a Joe DiMaggio baseball and a Warren Spahn baseball that faded away to nothing) Pictures tend to hold ink well. Get a good sharpie with a contrasting color to the picture. I would recommend a black one and a white one.
Jerseys are GREAT! I had 4 Nolan Ryan jersies. Do not get signed on the jersey....get the signature on the number. It shows better and normally will not fade. When you get enough money get the jersey framed it they look great on the wall.
Helmets are good, too. On a Georgia helmet I would get a black sharpie and then put it in a nice UV protected case. They look great and generally last forever. If you can't afford a full size helmet there are mini helmets. Full size look better, but can be expensive and take up more room. IF you can get a full size you can get several players on one helmet and that looks good, too. I would go with a theme to the helmet....something like Georgia RB's on one helmet or QB's. Imagine a helmet with David Greene, Stafford, Zeir and Murray and maybe even Tarkenton all on one helmet. nice. Or Herschel, Gurley, Chubb, Terrel Davis and Garriosn Hearst....OR Belue and Lindsey Scott on one helmet....VERY nice!
Here is one thing I will warn you about...I had Nolan Ryan jerseys, a Ted Williams bat, a Reggie Jackson jersey, Pete Rose bat and some other VERY nice stuff. After awhile I would walk into the room and not even notice the stuff. The hobby can be very expensive, too....but it's nice to own a bit of history. Buy what YOU like. Players that YOU like and you won't be sorry.

Ive still got some stuff from 1980 including 2 NC Coke bottles unopened and a dinner tray with Herschel and Dooley on it.
Alot Braves memorabilia as well but my favorite has to be my Greg Maddox rubber duckie.

About 8 years ago, I went on a 2 year binge of shopping for old UGA game programs and old ticket stubs on EBay. I ended up buying about 40 old programs dated before 1960. Really fun to look at the old pics of campus and the ads. I got many away game programs as well including when we played at USC in the 30s and when we played in Ann Arbor. The most obscure program is probably when we traveled to California in 1950 to play the Saint Mary's Gaels. They quit football a long time ago. I have a ton of ticket stubs from the 30s and 40s and 50s and obviously all of my own from the late 70s until 2015.

What did you do with them? I feel like that could make a great collage or two. Put that in a black wood frame and that's some solid wall art right there.

Never heard of that! I had signed jerseys by Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz. Smoltz used to sign autographs on anything you wanted before one game a year for two cans of food for the food bank. You couldn't really spend any time with him or talk to him as he was trying to get as much food as he could. Obviously it was before a game he was not pitching.

Game programs are always fun, and you don't have to worry too much about fakes. They are pretty inexpensive and look nice when framed. I had a newspaper from when Cal Ripken broke the consecutive games record, and an Atlanta Constitution paper from when Aaron broke tied the HR record. never got them framed, though.

All I can say about that is.....wow! I've never seen or heard of that!
Some of my favorite stuff, though have been unusual collections. When I was collecting baseball cards one of my favorite sets was a set you got from Post Cereal boxes. It had 10 or 20 cards in it, and you would get 3-5 cards in each box of Post cereal you bought. I ate so much Alpha Bits it was sickening, but it's a nice set and I was as proud of it as I was my Johnny Bench rookie card.

That's a CelebriDuck. Very limited editions usually. My wife has a UT Smokey one.
I think the only one they never made is Mohammed.
