Auburn, they have the best DC in the country and they don't have to play their offense.

LSU, regardless of the 3 DC hires, LSU has a disgusting amount of talent on D for next year.

I would say probably LSU because of talent.

Sir. Please clarify your affiliation. We are keeping a tally of the number of corndog-sessed threads on the 6 most recent pages of the Rant. Right now A&M is in the lead with 19.

Thank you.

If any of these guys can turn these train wrecks around in a year, they will have earned their substantial salaries. That being said, LSU seems the most likely, followed by Aubren.

lol

They have to play in Death Valley, where their offense wilts time after time.

Defense and A&M should not be used in the same sentence

1. A&M
2. Auburn
3. LSU

LSU will only rank above State in the division as far as defense is concerned.

Malzahn put up almost 500 yards the last time we went to DV. Turnovers cost us from scoring in the 30s, at least.

Probably not TAMU, but it doesn't have to be. We can score enough to get by with an average defense.

Tough to say. I can tell you which will be improved and which will be in decline though.

LSU statistically, by a big margin. Be objective and consider the entire team, and there's really no other answer. LSU will sit on the ball and soak up time of possession, and will keep the score low. Auburn and A&M will move fast and score more points. If all 3 teams are equal on talent (and LSU looks to have the edge there too btw), then LSU faces less possessions on defense, against an opponent less pressured to score.
