The sky was falling for us LSU fans with the Steele hire and just as quickly as a fart in the wind, the melt seems to have disappeared with the Orgeron news.
I told yall to be patient. Never know what the Hat has up his sleeve. This is going to be great for the defense and we definitely got an upgrade from Chavis on recruiting.

There was a thread yesterday for people to score the hire on the contingency that O came, because everyone expected that it would be the small silver lining to the disaster. Most LSU fans still scored the hire very low.

Actually, we feel that we replaced a declining DC (eyeball test our defense the last two years...) who didn't recruit with a top notch recruiting tandem.
Why wouldn't we be excited?
