Per BOL. Looks like we are replacing another.

I hate that he's going to a rival. One thing he can do is recruit.

Apparently Saban wasn't happy with his LB play

I wonder if we will go with someone that's a better coach as opposed to a recruiter. LT was an incredible recruiter. Somewhat questionable on his coaching abilities.

@AaronSuttles
I have confirmed from multiple sources that Lance Thompson was told to find a job elsewhere.

Kind of what I am thinking, otherwise how could a program in the red outbid us for a coach we wanted to keep?

Here's how it went down per BOL:
-LT and CNS met after the Sugar Bowl. CNS told LT to start looking around. LT told CNS he'd rather stay at UA.
-LT has several connections with the Auburn staff.
-Everyone took a few weeks break for the holiday and met this week.
-LT told CNS that he would probably end up at Auburn. CNS gave his blessing.

Pretty much what I heard from my source, who doesn't want to give me much info lately.

Exactly.

Our TE's and Special Teams SUCK. (Our punter doesn't count, he was doing that before he signed with Bama)

Is Tosh a better coach? That's all I care about right now.

I think he'd be a great OLB coach and he's a beast on the recruiting trail.
