That's fine, we should have to earn a top 5 ranking, not be gifted it.
We have no QB and major problems in the secondary.
Unless a QB steps up like Sims did this year and unless the secondary plays better, #10 feels about right.

Yep. In 2008 I think Alabama was #24 in one poll and unranked in the other preseason. 2010 Alabama fell to like #13 before the Capital One Bowl. Haven't been out of the top 10 in 4 years and only out of the top 5 for a handful of weeks.

I guess the rant is right. We're ranked in double digits for the first tide in 6-7 years. I knew I should have switched allegiances when Saban was hired.

With no starting qb in place and a secondary that couldn't cover honey boo boo's mama I think 10 is fine. We'll make the playoff nonetheless. RMFT
