Since it looks to be that LSU will hire Kirby Smart and we are having a merry go round of Rival coaches leaving for in-conference opponents who is next?

Talks between LSU and smart are being reported to be heating up right now apparently.
FWIW, I think smart will just get a nice raise and stay at bama. But I would love for reports to be true.

Yes, it would be awesome to give up 40+ points to Auburn and Ohio State. What an upgrade over Chavis.
On the flip side, Aggy looked pretty dumb against Smart in 2014. But they look pretty dumb against any LSU defense this century.

The reason he is interested in the job is allegedly he feels like he won't get any credit as long as he is on Saban's staff,and he needs to branch out on his own. He got almost no interest in any openings this year, and Miles would let him run the defense at LSU. He allegedly feels like McIlwain and Muschamp both got increased interest as soon as they left Saban's staff, and that this would be his best route to a head job. That's why he would consider a lateral move.
