ETA: I am pretty much copying and pasting things and only cleaning up writing for the preview threads we start
Hey tAggieArk members! I am trying to get Auburn basketball previews for upcoming games. I don't know too much about TAMU basketball and was hoping ya'll could help out.
This preview would look at TAMU's team and include:
Play style
Star Players (position)
Strengths
Weaknesses
Xfactors
How you do at Home & on the Road
Hope ya'll can make it out to the plains. Seems like you have a solid team this year and excited for the matchup

Play style
Slow as molasses. We mostly play man on defense but have been mixing in zone this year some more. Offensively it would probably best be described it as a dachshund trying to frick a chicken. It's simply horrific and unnatural.

Star Players (position)
SF Danuel House can play. He mostly is a slasher but he has struggled mightily with consistency. When he's on, he's a star. When he's not, the entire team revolves around Caruso who is a plus off-ball defender with good handles. But honestly Caruso doesn't shoot much, he's all about setting up others. Caruso often plays the point but with freshman Alex Robinson coming on, he's been playing more SG. He'd probably be best as a 3 though

Strengths
Defense. We haven't been giving consistent effort but when we do, the defense is quite good. The defense sets up our only offense tbh. We're surprisingly good in transition even though we don't look to run much.

Weaknesses
Anything offense related. Shooting. Free Throws. Running an offensive set

IDK if he'll be back or not but Jones is in contention as our best player. 6'7" athletic big that leads our team in scoring and rebounding. Plays a little wing too at times. He's been out with an ankle injury.

yeah that's a good point. I'm not sure when he's back

Add rebounding to the weakness.

Rebounding, court awareness, clock awareness, spacing.
Possibly dribbling and breathing.

Strength: Bounce Pass
Weakness: Using the bounce pass at the wrong moments.
