I don't get why Ole Miss is rated so highly by all of these preseason rankings. Ridiculous! They are top 20 at best!

These things are all over the map. Alabama should be between 4-8 in August.

I would drop LSU, Ole Miss, and Florida... but pretty good overall.

I'm just referring to Bama and the top 5. I stopped looking after that.

Wow, aside from the ESPN Early poll not having Ohio State #1, I'd say it's probably more realistic than CBS. Think he has the SEC teams, overall, ranked too high for what they're returning...hope he's right though...

The credit Ole Miss is getting for beating what turned out to be a not great Alabama team is just unbelievable.

Alabama was pretty fricking good. SEC champions and made the playoff. They weren't the juggernaut of past teams but no one in the country was great this year. If Alabama wasn't good then the rest of the country has a looong way to go.

What a weird opinion. Bama loses by 7 to an Ohio State team that blows out Oregon to win the national title, but they were "not great?"
