Just think without the brain fart(s) at Columbia/vs GT and the not showing up at Jacksonville.. we would have beat Bama. Beat FSU then...... well the way they looked last night, got asses handed to us in a box by Corch

Kind of makes you wonder exactly what the Mark Richt haters are pining for. Even though Dooley won the coveted MNC, Richt's teams are much better year in and year out, and a lot more fun to watch.

Watching Florida (2), Alabama (3), LSU, and Auburn win national titles in the last 9 years makes you want one. It's time to join that group.

Georgia doesn't recruit players who were kicked off other teams (that's not all Richt's choice either), and UGA's strict disciplinary standards would have made it difficult for any of those teams to win it all. Urban Meyer recruited and played some kids at UF who wouldn't have stayed on roster at UGA, or who would have missed multiple games. Every team wants to win it all, but it's far from clear that changing coaches gets us any closer to that goal.

Dooley won his MNC after something like 17 years. If CMR's teams stay at this level, I think he'll eventually have a breakthrough season and get us there. The odds of that are as good or better than hoping we find somebody else who can thrive under UGA standards. I definitely don't understand people who want us to roll the dice and fire the most successful coach in UGA history.

I have come around to the opinion that Richt is a very good coach who has his flaws. I like the direction the program is going in though. 2016 could be his best shot, but we need to open up that season with a few softballs to help Eason and Ben Cleveland ease into college football. We will need them to be really good right away.

Auburn's was bought. LSU's 2007 was bogus and everyone knows it. Florida's was built off the blood of innocent victims of that football team. Alabama has been the only really impressive one to me.

UGA would, I believe, have beaten Ohioans State last night. Any team with a mismatch on the line like there was last night, would look like world beaters against Oregon. Remember how bad Ohio State looked against Florida in Meyers first natty? It was a debacle. Point is, UGA and Ohio State would have been a good game, but if they got the UGA that spanked Mizzou and Auburn, then it's game on and a big W for the Dawgs. Just gotta put it all together and then we will be unstoppable.

Count me all in for the new O coordinator and a magical next year.
