Henry being invisible for 3 quarters

Henry averages 7 yards a carry, wasnt his fault he didnt get enough carries, I think he only got 11.

I think that is his point.

Did you see DH's tweet last night when the game started?

Him, as well as others on the team, expressed their disgust with not making the NCG, and basically pledged to work even harder this offseason to win it all next year. I'm sure there will be some cynical reactions to that from this board, but I love the drive these guys have. These guys really give a shite and work extremely hard, whether some people want to believe that or not.

The guys over at BOL seem pretty confident in Eddie Jackson making a significant jump next year like Cyrus did.

He will have a better chance if he can avoid tripping over the 20 yard line again.

If there is one thing that drives me to distraction about Smart/Saban is their rigidity in their personnel groupings. On 3rd/medium to long, they still have fat arse 280+ lb ers at DE. Pettway is no way shape or form a rush end. Hell, neither is Xzavier Dickson. I don't understand why in these situations we didn't have Pettway and Dickson inside to collapse the pocket and put two rabbits like Evans and Tim Williams at DE. Simply tell them, "frick everything else, go get the damn QB!"

There is no excuse with the elite talent we have had the last 7-8 years that we are in the lower half of the conference in sacks every season.

I agree with this, and I was almost certain that we'd see it more and more as the year went on. We saw it some in AU game, so I thought we'd see it a lot against Missouri and OSU, but alas, we never did. Disappointing.

"King Henry"? Seriously?

Looks more like a princess on runs between the tackles.

He was great the last three games of the season, and never really had a bad game. Seemed to really turn a corner the last three games, though.

Kiffin works with Coker over the offseason

I predict that Cornwell will beat out Coker.

IMO, Saban wants a 3 year starter. Cornwell didn't red-shirt and wears #12 (which means he better be good)

*EDIT

Blake Barnett is the x factor. Will he beat out Cornwell...

Something along the lines of he didn't have time to sit on the couch and watch football - he's the weight room.

It depends on Saban. Attended game in NOLA and came away with this point.
Meyer came to OSU knowing what style of football had been dominating CFB and winning championships. BAMA power football. In three years Meyer put together a 2011-12 Bama style team. Bottom line, we out out Bamaed.

Must go back to physical, smash mouth football. Run the ball to setup the pass. Very simple but effective.

Roll tide. Only 7-1/2 months to kickoff.

He did RS.. And I'll say Henry was better over the last couple games I wouldn't say that he was great by any means.

Almost 10 yards per carry, 362 total yards, and 4 TDs over the last three games looks pretty great to me.

Dude averages 8.2 YPC. And our fans think he's weak. Or "not good".
