As we all can clearly see the SEC Era is over. No more cupcake championship games I fear. We had a good run while it lasted. There are some positives we can take out of this though, which is the "shite tier" other conferences are playing up to and beyond our level now which makes for some good football to watch. With Michigan clearly in line to become a top team it will be a miracle if the SEC team can get past the first round of the playoffs, if we can muster up a team worth a shite to represent (Alabama blew it), for years to come. Goodnight sweet prince. RIP in pieces SEC.

The SEC is down because of coaching and recruiting beds being dried up by a few coaches.
I think the SEC will be just fine over time. I agree that it's clear that it's been on a down trend for a few years. Fortunately, until this year, we have been kicking arse in big bowl games.

Not our fault everyone blew it first by losing to us, well except LSU, but they blew it by losing to everyone else.

Last time I checked only 4 SEC programs contributed to that run. Ole Miss can EAD.

I know. It's like they don't even remember losing to us. They just blank the whole thing out as if it never happened. Must be tough for those guys to see another team celebrate what they all thought was inherently theirs
