LSU fans have said all season that they had a young team this year...

lsu fans said they were young all year, yet during the national title game tonight, Kirk and Fowler kept reiterating how young Ohio State was this year, stating that over half of their "impact" players were either freshman or sophomores - not to mention that they're on their 3rd string qb.
i'm curious, how can lsu fans honestly watch the way ohio state has played this year with an incredibly young team, and then use the "youth" excuse for their 5 loss performance this year?

Because it was youth. If you knew jack shite about anything, you'd know that youth will always have the potential to be a liability and it usually is.
