https://espn.go.com/ncw/notebook/_/page/notebook_150111/weekend-wrap-connecticut-huskies-replace-south-carolina-gamecocks-nation-no-1-team

It's actually a pretty-good read if you have a moment and feel like clicking the link.

Bottom line, the writer is trying to make a case that UConn should be #1 and us #2.

Also, it states in the blog that the little girl who got hurt the other night from Kentucky, dislocated ankle and fractured fibula.

Ouch. Bless her heart - she is a hustler.

I understand that UConn's only loss would probably be a loss for damn near anyone in the country.. but at this point I feel we need not be concerned seeing as how these two will settle it on the court pretty soon.

I'll assume UConn will also make it to the Final 4, so regardless of how that game turns out I'm sure we'll see them again.

Judging from the UConn posts, they're pissed that we picked-up all the Texas 1st place votes and they lost one vote somewhere .... Rhonda somebody or another.

It's funny to see how riled up they're getting about it... I don't expect to beat UCONN in Storrs.. but I hope we do just to see them melt in agony.

They are absolutely vicious when it comes to round ball. I lived in CT when Clemson and UConn played for the men's title and my then hubby was a tater alum. He had a Clemson decal on the back window of our car and I cannot tell you how many times I got flipped off/cursed at/stared down for that shite. I yanked that damn decal off and replaced it with a SCar decal.

Why do you think he's the ex? Carolina and clemson alums are like oil and water.

I won't even date anybody outside of the SEC. Preferably USC grads/fans, then the east teams excluding the yanks from Mizzou, then the west.

To be fair, it may not have been just Uconn fans. Tater hate may be much bigger than the confines of a single opponent.

Good start but still trying to get past "married a tater"

He was my high school sweetheart and after college, he went into the Navy and we got married. We'd been together for a long time by then.

I thought I could convert him, he thought he could convert me. Joke was on him though. He had to buy season tix to Carolina's games and go with me to keep wifey happy. Never once did we go to a tater game. It was fun watching him squirm in Willy B. Hell, when both teams were bowling, who's team did we travel for? Gamecocks, of course.

Why are young women always thinking this? Is the thought of conversion part of the attraction? Like women thinking they will be the one to convert the gay guy or women thinking they will be the one to get the wandering eye guy to settle down.

Even if you did convert him he would still be a tater inside. It is like dressing up a pig as in the end it is still a pig.
