Great seeing Mizzou have a good start. Hope they keep it up. Could make for an exciting year.

Bond goes 2-3. Rash gives up 1 hit in 5 innings. Staff gives up one hitter for a 1-0 win over Purdue. 7-1 on the season. Bond making a statement so far as a freshman.

I'm really hoping he cuts out Fairbanks and goes with McClain on Friday nights. He's earned it. Houck and Rash on Saturdays and Sundays.
Rash really has put up solid numbers EXCEPT his damn control. 7 walks already. Haven't hurt him but playing with fire.

Baseball swept a double header over UIC today. McClain gave up his first and only earned run in the first game, pitching 7 and striking out 10. Lester had a walk off HR to win 3-2. Freshman Houck pitched 6.2 innings of shutout ball in the 2nd game.

Tigers sweep, winning the 3rd game against UIC 10-1. Lots of offense and solid pitching behind Fairbanks, who threw 7.1 with 8 K's and 0 BB.
