Like I said on the Rant. The only reason I'd say Fire Kennedy right now is if we don't get in the NCAA tournament and accept a worthless NIT bid.

And the thing is it's not like he's had a bad year outside of the Charleston Southern, WKU and TCU losses. We've been pretty damn good. It's just the end of the season collapse that has me on the fence again. If we lost to Vandy and Bama, I may have to rethink my stance on giving him one year in the new arena.

We have to have better guard play to win. Simple as that. Our bigs are not near good enough to win us any games by theirselves.

I absolutely hate having to go into the SEC tournament on the bubble and having the "They have to win at least two games to get in" feeling over us.

I was a big time fire Kennedy guy for a while, but he made the tourney and is still in the top half of the SEC w/ terrible Tad Pad and tradition. He gets next year no matter what. Tuesday is football.

So Jarvis was Pre-season All-SEC. Which basically means he was regarded as a Top 9 player. I don't consider him Top 20 now..

I don't think anyone knows why Jarvis has been off. He couldn't even hit his FT todays. Something is up for sure. Perhaps he is injured and we just don't know.

I think Kennedy has done an amazing job so far this year even with the 2 losses this week.

It's hard to really sing Kennedy's praises until the season is done. I, too, thiink he's done a pretty darn good job this season and just the fact that they've lost their last two wouldn't be enough to completely tarnish that. It's more the way they have lost them. I think they are playing for their tournament lives over the next couple of weeks.

Talk of firing Kennedy is comical. He's not going to be fired nor should he be. The man certainly should be given a season or more in the new building to see if he can recruit and turn those recruits into something more than he has so far.

We are a projected 9 seed by CBS. I think we are pretty much a lock for the tourney at this point.
