Twice a year, the Prevent Cancer foundation hosts a week-long marathon on the streaming site Twitch.tv of speedrunners speedrunning one game after another. Speedrunners beat the game as fast as possible by any means necessary other than altering the actual coding of the game. Glitches, exploits, tricks are all legal. It's pretty cool to watch. Right now there's a guy that has been playing Zelda Ocarina of time for an hour and 12 minutes BLINDFOLDED and has beaten the water temple and deku tree temple already. Anyway, that's a screenshot from the stream. Apparently he's a Kingdom Hearts 2 speedrunner. No idea who he is, though.

Today is the last day of the marathon and so far they have raised $868,042.39. It's a really cool thing to witness.
